For the first time, Auto Trends with JeffCars.com, the only weekly syndicated multicultural automotive program in North America, is talking to two Black pioneering households, who have owned multiple electric vehicles, both new and used.

Dr. Reggie Tucker-Seely and Dr. India Calhoun Williams, who are based in California and Georgia, respectively are considered early adopters in the electric vehicle movement. While only 7 to 8 percent of the U.S. population currently owns electric vehicles, both the Hispanic and Black community are barely a drop on the radar.

On the other hand, white men and the Asian community are driving electric vehicle sales in the U.S.

'Auto Trends' Electric Vehicle Guests Talk Best Times To Charge And Installation Prep Tips

Auto Trends with JeffCars.com continues our radio conversation this week talking about electric vehicles, but from a different angle. His conversation will have all of us rethinking when, where and how often we charge.

And, we'll close out the program with Powering Chicago's executive director Elbert Walters, as he shares prep tips homeowners, landlords, business owners and nonprofits need to know before installing an electric charger. Powering Chicago represents all of the certified electricians in Chicago. Walters' insights will save one from experiencing a lot of missteps no matter where they are based in North America.

Auto Trends With JeffCars.com Celebrates 7-Year Anniversary Podcasting Older Shows

On July 25, 2015, Auto Trends with JeffCars.com, a multicultural automotive program launched as a monthly show on an Atlanta-based FM station. After just two months on the air, the station cancelled the program.

Immediately thereafter, the program was picked-up by a Phoenix-based AM station as a weekly show. Since that time, the 30-minute weekly show has expanded its reach to SiriusXM's subscriber-based network and several FM radio outlets, becoming the only syndicated multicultural automotive program airing throughout the U.S. and Canada. The high-energy program is also the only multicultural automotive show airing on SiriusXM, the largest audio entertainment group in the U.S with over 34-million subscribers. In fact, for a few years, it was the only automotive program airing on the SiriusXM network.
