Redesign 2013/2014 Hyundai Santa Fe Moves Upscale

Hyundai's third-generation crossover, the Santa Fe, will arrive in both a short-wheel base and a long-wheel base configuration. The five-passenger short-wheel base model will arrive this summer, with two fuel-efficient four-cylinder engines, while those looking for a third-row will have to wait until the first quarter of 2013 for the long-wheel base model, which adds a third-row and a six-cylinder engine.

The free-flowing design of this Hyundai makes this crossover look more like an upscale Infiniti than the typical run-of-the mill mainstream brand. The Sante Fe will offer such must-have features as a panoramic sunroof, a heated steering wheel, a heated rear seat, an infotainment telematics system and an all-wheel drive system. And in addition to the aforementioned features, the long-wheel base model will exclusively offer an electronic blind-spot detection system. We've also learned that the larger Veracruz will be phased-out as the new third-row Santa Fe comes on board.

As with all Hyundais, by now we know the vehicle will be priced below the competition in the segment.
