Up until two days ago, Chevy's much anticipated Volt, the automaker's first mass-produced gas/electric vehicle, was only available in a handful of markets. Not only has the availability expanded, GM is also knocking a $1,000 off of the sticker price, bringing the sticker down to $39, 995, according to the Detroit News.
