Rumor Mill: New Camry on the Way, Ram to Add Honda-Like Truck

Could this be the next-generation Toyota Camry? From our non Toyota sources we hear that Toyota is back on track to unveil its much-anticipated family sedan this fall. The redesigned Camry was supposed to be revealed at last month's New York Int'l Auto Show, but it was taken out of the mix due to Japan's devastating earthquake. With the stylish new Sonata rubbing-up to the rear bumper of Toyota and the release of next-generation Malibu  in January, Toyota is getting their behind in gear. We're not sure if this is how the 2012 Camry will look. However, if its any indication, the Japanese automaker may be ready to take names and kick some butt or at least leave some automakers in the dust.
Could Ram, the truck division for Dodge, be working on a truck-like vehicle similar to the Honda Ridgeline? With gas prices rising, Chrysler's Ram brand plans to offer a light-duty pickup on a redesigned minivan platform beginning in 2013, according to one of our inside industry sources. The Ridgeline-like vehicle is expected to target folks who want a car-like ride, improved fuel-economy and the ability to be seen in a truck. The new Ram is expected to be developed on the automakers' front-drive minivan platform. While everyone laughed at Honda for making something almost like a truck now with gas prices circling in the $3.00 range it just makes good sense to have a vehicle like this in the portfolio. By the way, we're not sure if the new Ram will look like this.

Unless your pets are highly social and love to be around people- all people- all the time- seclude them during trick-or-treating or party hours.
