Garage Preview: Dodge Unleashes the 2012 Charger SRT8

Dodge is back in the muscle car business with its 2012 Dodge Charger SRT8 outfitted with a 6.4-liter HEMI V-8 engine -- offering an estimated 465-horsepower and 465 lb.-ft. of torque for power.

The restyled Dodge with the wide-mouth, fire dragon grill includes an all-new active valve exhaust system, a new paddle-shift technology for the steering wheel, a new two-mode adapative damping suspension and super-fat 20-inch wheels.  Unfortunatley, you'll have to wait until fall to get behind the wheel of one.

Dodge Brand President and CEO Ralph Gilles unveiled the 2012 Charger SRT8 during the vehicle‘s world debut at the 2011 Chicago Auto Show
