Verdict: The all-new Cadillac Vistiq is the latest all-electric addition to the luxury brand’s portfolio. The three-row crossover is slotted right under the flagship IQ.

Unlike the ostentatious IQ, the Vistiq is a much more manageable in terms of size and the ability to navigate the city streets. Ironically, the driving range of Vistiq is significantly less than the IQ, which garners 460 miles on a full range. The Vistiq, on the other hand, can be driven up to 300 miles on a full charge. That’s a respectable number, allowing drivers to move around the city or to make out of town trips without experiencing range anxiety.

At a starting price near $80,000, Cadillac’s stylish electric vehicle is available in several trims. Depending upon the trim, the Vistiq can be outfitted with such features as leather seats, a panoramic sunroof, a hands-free highway driving system and a 4-wheel steering system.

Moreover, the Vistiq, the only electric vehicle by GM’s luxury brand, is configured with the performance-oriented V Series which spews out 650-horsepower. The V series is Cadillac’s version of Mercedes-Benz AMG series.

Overall, the high-tech Vistiq seems to be a great value story, too, when compared to the brand’s crosstown rival from Lincoln. While Lincoln has yet to electrify their fleet. The Aviator Black is priced the same as the Vistiq. As opposed to the gasoline powered Lincoln Aviator Black, we would opt for the all-electric Vistiq. The luxurious Vistiq is the future of driving. Cadillac has nailed it with this vehicle, offering style, technology and electricity.

Competition: Rivian 1S; Lucid Gravity; and Mercedes-Benz EQS`
