While the luxurious SUV has been completely overhauled, the folks from Lincoln have literally turned the new Navigator into a mobile spa riding on 24-inch wheels. From the reclining massaging front seats to the mood-setting visuals, digital aromas and calming sounds displayed on an almost cinema-like door-to-door 48-inch digital instrument/infotainment cluster, everything about this experience echoes relaxation and rejuvenation.
Outside of the humongous rear-wheel drive vehicle being able to convert to a spa, while parked, it’s also a people mover, too. The Navigator, which is available in two wheelbases and a variety of trims, is also designed for business deals during the day, a night out on the town or cross-country road trips while traveling in style.
With its airplane like front and second-row bucket seats, the folks at Lincoln literally left no stone unturned with the redesign. From the hands-free highway steering system to the power operated panoramic sunroof to the ability to watch in-car Youtube videos to the all-new split tailgate, the only thing missing is a chauffeur for trips while navigating the city streets.
Overall, Lincoln has elevated the vehicle to another level. Some would say, the Lincoln brand is still behind the eight ball. Some of its competitors offer electrified flagships as well as supercharged gas engines too.
SUV Competition: Cadillac Escalade; Infiniti QX80; and Range Rover
