'Auto Trends' Talks Tire Selection, Maintenance And Safety With The Tire Industry Association

While tires are one of the most essential parts to making vehicles drivable on the road in rainy, snowy or warm weather climates, unfortunately most of us know barely the basics in terms of tire selection, maintenance and safety. Having the right tire and properly caring for them could be the difference between life or death, gasoline savings and more. 

Kevin Rohlwing, who is the chief technical officer with TIA, shares his insights from over four decades working with and/or being in the tire industry. The tire safety guru talks about new and used tires, quality of tires, tire pressure sensors, tire expiration dates and more during this high energy conversation.

The Tire Industry Association promotes tire safety through training and education. The Maryland-based organization also acts as a principal advocate in government affairs.
