With the new pricing, this year’s model trades in its 8-cylinder engine for a smaller, but more powerful 450-horsepower, fuel-efficient 6-cylinder engine. Moreover, the 2025 QX80 with its 24-inch screen adds a new trim, bringing the total to four.
Furthermore, the high-tech, spacious, three-row, big body vehicle is now on par with many of its flagship competitors. Some of the features now available includes a hands-free driving system, a a co-pilot assist system, 22-inch wheels and 24-speakers located throughout the cabin.
And while the gigantic vehicle, with its 8,500 lb towing capacity is a lot to maneuver, especially on city streets its outfitted with a host of high tech safety driving aids. Yet, unlike some of its competitors, the flagship SUV lacks a long wheelbase model and electrification.
So after finally updating its long on the tooth design, we believe Infiniti's flagship, which doesn't ride quite as smooth as some of its competitors, is a worthy contender, especially for those looking for something fresh in the large luxury SUV segment.
Competition: BMW X7; Cadillac Escalade; GMC Yukon Denali; Lexus LX; Lincoln Navigator; Mercedes-Benz; and Range Rover
