Bryan Benedict, who grew up like most boys collecting die-cast cars, is the design director of Hot Wheels and Matchbox. 

Benedict joins Auto Trends with JeffCars.com to talk about his progression to becoming a car designer to his transition to landing his dream job creating toy cars for Mattel. 

The vivacious toy car designer also shares how the toy company has remained relevant for over a half a century with both males and females.
