Auto Show Spotlight: Ford's F-150 Goes All-Aluminum



Ford is breaking ground with the F-150, which goes on sale later this yearm using a high-strength aluminum alloy body, a segment exclusive. The F-150 other class exclusives include LED headlamps, LED taillamps, LED spotlights on sideview mirrors, a 360 degree camera, integrated loading ramps, a remote taillgate, and a new 2.7-liter EcoBoost engine with an auto start-stop feature, which help saves fuel.


Added to that, the vehicle will offer an adaptive cruise control system, a lane-keep assist system and a blind spot monitoring system.
