New Design Theme: Hyundai's second-generation Genesis sedan evolves from the first-generation Fluidic Sculpture Design Theme to become the first Hyundai to benefit form the brand's evolutionary Fluidic Sculpture 2.0 Design. Its has more of a European flair, as opposed to the current-generation Genesis sedan.

Segment Firsts: Among these advances are the new CO2 cabin sensor control to help prevent drowsiness and safety features such as Automatic Emergency Braking.

New High-Tech Safety Features: Active safety is boosted by an Advanced Smart Parking System, a Blind Spot Detection system with integrated Head-Up Display, working in conjunction with a Lane Departure Warning System and Radar-Controlled Advanced Smart Cruise Control to name a few...... 

Driving Configurations: rear-wheel drive and the sedan's first all-wheel drive system

Engine Choices: The same two choices as the previous model will be offered, a 3.8-liter and a 5.0-liter.

Competition: Audi A6, BMW 5-Series, Cadillac CTS, Lexus GS, Infiniti Q50 and Mercedes E-Class
