Out-And-About with the Editor

Nissan was one of three automakers participation in this year's National Black Arts Festival, which was held in Atlanta. We have never seen such a huge display by a car maker for a non mainstream event. The display also included a ride-and-drive. Now this is what we call connecting with the community. In fact, Nissan's roadshow was so successful ... it was held over for another week in the Atlanta area.
The editor caught-up with two super hot Audis, the R8 and the TTS, which he wad driving, And he wasn't attending an Audi event.

Do you remember Theo from The Cosby Show? Like me, he's all grown-up now. He was the MC  at  an award luncheon hosted by the AABJ (Atlanta Association of Black Journalist). Cadillac was the official sponsor for the event.

The editor taking a moment to connect with Atlanta's Mayor, Kaseem Reed, at the AABJ  Pioneer Award  Luncheon.

The editor catches up with the recently retired Atlanta anchor, Monica Pearson, who worked for the same news station  for over 37 years. Oprah and Jane Pauley both interviewed for the job that  Pearson landed. Pearson was the first African American female to work the prime 6 pm slot in the Southeast in the seventies.
The editor attended the world premiere of Kenny Leon's stage play, Guess Who's Coming to Dinner.?Phyllica Rashad  from The Cosby Show was one of the cast members. This event was apart of the ABFF.

The editor escorting his favorite lady to the play, his mom to Guess Who's  Coming to Dinner?
