Five New Fuel Savers Hitting the Streets This Year


The Chevy Aveo is being replaced with the Chevy Sonic. It's expected to be a much better car than its predecessor.

Toyota's Prius Wagon is the newest addition to the hybrid line up. It will be arriving in the states sometimes this year.  Production has been delayed due to Japan's recent tragic earthquake. Toyota is hoping to capture those consumers seeking crossovers.   
Even Honda is on edge about the world-class Ford Focus. Vehicles are scheduled to be shipped to dealers within in the next week. Unlike the previous Focus, this vehicle is expected to give the popular Civic a run for its money.





Chrysler's Fiat 500 is ready to take on the world. For a price point of $17K to $19K this Italian built vehicle is ready to take on the world. Now that we've seen the vehicle up close, we believe this MINI-fighter could be a hit for the automaker.
 


Here's another vehicle joining the electric craze, the all-new wheego electric car. It's about the size of the Smart Car. Pricing is expected to go head-to-head with the Nissan Leaf, which is priced in the $30,000 range before the government tax credit kicks in. The two-seater weego has a driving range up to 100 miles, before it needs to be recharged.
