UDATED: Hummer Expected to Breathe Its Last Breath Soon

If you have plans on buying a brand-new Hummer soon, you better make a move now. Pretty soon you'll only be able to find a sprinkling of used Hummers on car lots across America. It was just announced today that - after several failed attempts - GM has been unable to find a suitable buyer for the brand. Like Saturn and Pontiac, this is GM's last brand expected to bite the dust or head up to car heaven. At one time, before the rise of gas prices, the Hummer was the daddy of all rides - if you were looking to make a statement. However, in today's economy, it's no longer politically-correct or environmentally-friendly to be seen tooling around in the gas-guzzler.

As of this announcement, we've learned that GM may have other offers on the table again. We'll let you know if the Hummer brand is able to steer clear of the grave yard.
