'Cash for Clunkers': Top 5 Most Purchased New Vehicles

These were the top five selling vehicles purchased during the first week of the 'Cash for Clunkers' program. Besides these vehicles being fuel-efficient, they qualified for either a $3,500 or $4,500 discount off of the MSRP, when a non fuel- efficient vehicle was traded in. However, if the money runs out before then, its highly unlikely the program will be injected with more cash.
