When Is the Best Time of the Month to Buy a Vehicle?
Buying a vehicle at the beginning of the month may not be the best move for savvy car buyers unless you're purchasing a very popular ride. I suggest waiting until the last week of the month to make your move. If automakers and dealers are experiencing a dismal month, have an excess supply of inventory or they're not on track to meet their sales objectives, they'll be in a better position to make a deal with you. Periodically, if sales are slow, automakers announce additional incentives near the middle to the end of the month, helping to close the deal. To help you navigate the car-buying process, check out JeffCars.com's Top 20 Best Deals. This report is updated during the last two weeks of the month. Just wondering, when have you gotten your best deals?

I usually wait until the last weekend of the month to buy my vehicles.
I guess, the closer to the end of the month the better for the loan officer, but around the 5th is best for the buyer because their first payment is almost 60 days away instead of 30 if they bought at the end of the month.
I think the end of the month is definitely better for buying a vehicle. Many dealerships have monthly incentives for their sales staff and they are more apt to make deals to ensure that they stay competitive for these goals.
