NYIAS: 2016 Nissan Maxima

The Nissan Maxima is the last large car to receive an major overhaul. And from what we can tell, its was worth the wait. The Maxima which goes on sale this summer will have a starting price of approximately $33,000. It will be powered by a 3.6-liter, 6-cylinder engine and will be available in four trim levels. As of now, know 4-cylinder is available.

Like with the Nissan Leaf, the Maxima will have a reservation program, which is open now on their website and will provide buyers with 3 years or 36,000 miles of complimentary maintenance.

The Maxima will be available with every high-tech feature one can imagine from a forward collision braking system to a blind spot lane changing system.

The Maxima competes against the Chevy Impala, the Ford Taurus, the Kia Cadenza, the Toyota Avalon and the Hyundai Azera.

Full details on the reservation program are available at NissanUSA.com/cars/2016-maxima/reserve
