GM's Chevy Volt Ready to Take on America

Up until two days ago, Chevy's much anticipated Volt, the automaker's first mass-produced gas/electric vehicle, was only available in a handful of markets. Now GM is allowing everyone who wants to be the first to own a Volt to order one. Not only has the availability expanded, GM is also knocking a $1,000 off of the sticker price, bringing the sticker down to $39, 995, according to the Detroit News. Volt owners can also take advantage of any federal or local tax credits that may be available to further help discount the price.
